Should the U.S. be more in the middle or more conservative?

Tank here says we should be more in the middle to help the country get out of the dept. We should be more in the middle to save the hassle of arguing with the other side. We should also be in the middle to save the people from dangerous situations like gangs killing their families, and thieves stealing your price possessions.
When I took the quiz, I was in the middle of Liberal or conservative. I am liberal with people's rights to censorship and what they do for themselves, but I am conservative in business and punishments. I do think America needs to be just a bit more conservative. We should have art and all that but at the same time we need to watch what we are doing. We spend too much money and people are corrupt.
I think that the middle is the best place for a country to be. If we become more for or against any belief, then our country will cease to benefit all people that live in it. Both sides of the spectrum bring ideas and programs that are generally beneficial to the u.s. and it's people. Yes there are bad programs, yes there are bad ideas, but if you lean more to any side, then you will be more inclined to support a bad idea from that side. The middle is the best place to be in order to look at both opinions and find the best solution to the problem based on both.
I think the U.S. should be more conservative because traditions and morals are part of our culture. We have become a fairly liberal country, we are letting people do ridiculous things...like murder their unborn babies. While some liberal ideas arent bad, we should lean more towered being conservative.
When i took the quiz I was in the middle. To me this means we should consider what we are doing to be liberal and conservative. I believe we should be a little more conservative. The country right now to me seems a little more liberal than conservative.

Being a conservative, I lean more on the side where America should be a bit more conservative. However, on other side of the coin, the middle is the most ideal place to be. Different issues require different approaches, sometimes they will be Conservative and sometimes they will be Liberal, the key is that we end up back in the middle.

I think the government should be in between the middle and conservative. We need to be in the middle because you have to compromise and accept both liberal and conservative views, but yet I think being a little more conservative than liberal could help out our country at this time.
We should keep doing what the Constitution says. The framers studied what worked from previous societies, and put those principles on the Constitution for us.
I believe that the country needs to be in the middle but leaning more towards the conservative side. We need to be in the middle because thats where most people are so we have the best chance of compromise. But we need to stay a little conservative to hold onto old values.
I think we should be more in the middle because we need both conservative nd liberal not just one but both cause not everyone thinks alike all the time so we need to debate what is right and what is wrong.
I think we need to be more in the middle. Like Austin said, if you sway to one side more than you do the other, there is going to be more disagreements between the sides. If the U.S. is more in the middle it can keep in open mind in matters but also lean towards which ever side has a better point with the matter at hand. Besides this, the last thing the U.S needs right now is yet another thing to argue about!

how would having the us more conservative help us at all not having a compromise will keep us separated even more and secession will rise again this ifs definite not
I think tha American needs to be willing to try new ideas, but that we need to stay more conservative. We need people in the middle just as much as people on the conservative side. But in general I think we need to stick with our original foundation as a moral country, which is more conservative.
I say conservative but that is because I am conservative. This country was founded on the principles of conservatives. I realize that we have freedom of religion but pretty much all peole were some form of christian when they came. I'm not saying you can't live here but you shouldn't try to change it in to something different than what it should.
I do believe that we need to be more in the middle. Most people are not completely liberal nor conservative. Most agree with some liberal views as well as some conservative. Where as most are in the middle somewhere, I think it would be much easier to make compromises on things if the nation was in the middle as well. That is all.
